ADA Seeks Dentist Feedback on CDT Codes for Local Anesthesia

The American Dental Association is asking practicing dentists to help shape the future of the CDT Code by sharing how they document and report the administration of local anesthesia in everyday practice. The survey focuses on the use of CDT Codes for local anesthesia, including local infiltrations and nerve blocks. Participants will be asked about how they currently use these codes, whether the existing distinctions are meaningful in clinical practice, and how they interpret related anesthesia terminology within the CDT Code.
