The Contra Costa Dental Society is inviting members to consider serving on the Board of Directors.

Our Board is responsible for guiding the Society's strategic direction, supporting our members, advocating for the profession, and strengthening oral health throughout Contra Costa County. As we look toward the future, we are seeking thoughtful, engaged members who are interested in helping shape the next chapter of CCDS.

Serving on the Board is an opportunity to:

• Help guide the future of organized dentistry in Contra Costa County
• Support programs that advance professional excellence and lifelong learning
• Strengthen advocacy for dentists and the patients we serve
• Foster a vibrant, connected professional community
• Work alongside colleagues who are committed to the success of the profession

You do not need previous board experience to apply. We welcome members with a variety of professional experiences, practice settings, and leadership backgrounds who are committed to ethical leadership, collaboration, and service.

Board service includes approximately six Board meetings each year, participation on at least one committee, and attendance at the annual Board Retreat. Members are expected to prepare for meetings, engage thoughtfully in discussions, and contribute to the Society's governance and strategic priorities.

• Election: September 15, 2026 (General Membership Meeting)
• Board Orientation: November/December 2026
• Term Begins: January 2027
